Letters from the battlefield: My great-uncle’s experience of WWII in Tunisia

The local population was suffering under the consequences of the war while Great Britain and the US were fighting against Germany and Italy. Through his personal letters, the story of Hermann Franz, a German soldier, gives us an insight into the situation in the country at that time.
