Politically motivated arrests continue in Tunisia. This time, Ahmed Souab, a lawyer, former administrative magistrate, and a prominent figure committed to judicial independence and the defense of civil society, finds himself behind bars. He now faces serious terrorism-related charges, including conspiring to commit a terrorist conspiracy and directly disseminating sensitive information.

In this special interview, Inkyfada Podcast welcomes Saeb Souab, son of political prisoner Ahmed Souab, and Ayoub Ghalloussi, lawyer and member of the defense committee, to discuss the circumstances and issues of this case, in a context marked by increasing repression of freedom of expression and a challenge to the independence of the judiciary.
